Gordon Elvis
Gordon Elvis is a professional Elvis Tribute Artist (ETA) who started singing when he was three years old. He has been performing professionally for 2 1/2 years. Reliving the hip swivelling 50’s, the movie years of the 60’s and all the way through to the Vegas years of the 70's, Gordon puts on an astounding show from a choice of 350+ songs and 35 stage costumes utilising a professional sound and lighting system. In September 2007 Gordon was placed third in his first Elvis contest at The Porthcawl Elvis Festival in Wales (the biggest event of its kind in Europe) and the following year placed 2nd. In addition, the festival selected him as the best ‘68 Comeback Special’ artist. He was also the Elvis ETA of the month (December 2007) in England on the website of Rock Promotions. He has been featured in many newspaper and magazine articles throughout Europe. When he started his career Gordon committed himself to keeping the memory of Elvis alive amongst his fans. His resemblance to Elvis is remarkable; he does not wear any wigs etc, but relies purely on natural presentation and charisma that Elvis was renowned for. Elvis for Gordon is someone very special. He has been listening to his singing from a young age and he admires him so much, not only as a great singer, but also for the kindness and love he showed towards people. His parents are both Elvis fans and they encouraged him to become an Elvis Tribute Artist. He is dedicated to his career and knows how to excite a crowd.
